CALUMO – Dimension Maintenance Worked Example Video

Many dimensions in your CALUMO solution will have hierarchies. Where relevant, you can edit (or maintain) these hierarchies. That is, determine how accounts or companies roll-up. The following video shows how hierarchy members can be dragged and dropped and how a new rollup can be created.

Dimension Maintenance is part of the Administration section of CALUMO and should only be undertaken by staff with a good knowledge of CALUMO and the relevant dimensions. It uses a drag-and-drop interface and is relatively straightforward to use. In some cases, dimension maintenance can also be used to update member attributes if these are also displayed and editable. For instance, you might be able to add the ABN for each company or override the description for an Account.

NOTE: Dimensions can have more than one hierarchy. It is not unusual for clients to ask for a second or third hierarchy in some dimensions. It is also possible to automatically update hierarchies based on source system information, assuming it is available.
